Short Bio.

Chiodos, (pronounced Chee-Yo-Dose) is a six-member Post-Hardcore band from Davison, MI . Originally known as "The Chiodos Bros.," the band's name was a nod to filmmakers Stephen, Charles, and Edward Chiodo, responsible for movies such as Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Their second full length album, Bone Palace Ballet, was released in North America on September 4th, 2007 and debuted at number 5 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 on Top Independent Albums. The international release date for the album was September 24th, 2007.

Chiodos started off playing at the Flint Local 432, a small venue in downtown Flint, Michigan and Jamestown Hall. From there, the band started touring extensively, soon becoming "word-of-mouth faves across the nation." Chiodos has toured the United States at least seven times, and have played alongside such bands as Anti-Flag, New Found Glory, Set Your Goals, From First to Last, Coheed and Cambria, Saosin, Armor for Sleep, Atreyu, Yellowcard, The Used, Senses Fail, Aiden, The Devil Wears Prada, Evaline, My Chemical Romance, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Emery, Every Time I Die, and 30 Seconds to Mars The band is known for their on-stage performances which include controlled, high-pitched vocals from lead singer, Craig Owens. One of their most notorious live sets was at the New Jersey music festival "the Bamboozle" on May 7th, 2006, which they played under the alias of "Fluff My Boner." From this set a plethora of videos were released on YouTube almost immediately following the show. The band also performed May 6th at "The Bamboozle" festival under their own name.

Their debut album, All's Well That Ends Well was released by Equal Vision on July 24th, 2005. It reached #3 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart and #164 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. The band's albums and live performances have garnered praise from press outlets. Chiodos headlined some shows on their own before joining Alternative Press's 2006 "Invisible Sideshow" tour, headlined by Armor for Sleep.Following that tour, they supported Matchbook Romance on the Sub City "Take Action" tour in Spring 2006. That summer, they toured with Fear Before the March of Flames, as well as appearing on the Warped Tour.In fall 2006, Chiodos appeared on Atreyu's World Championship Tour, alongside From First to Last and Every Time I Die, as well as 3 and 36 Crazyfists. After reports of Sonny from From First to Last having throat/vocal issues, Craig offered to help by filling in for Sonny, although this never went through after From First to Last was kicked off the tour. They also toured with The Used, 30 Seconds to Mars, Saosin, Aiden, Senses Fail and Evaline on the 2007 Rockstar Taste of Chaos tour and in the summer they co-headlined Warped Tour 13. In November 2007 they headlined a tour with Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Emery, and The Devil Wears Prada.

I have been a fan since: 2007

First song I heard (when and where?): 2007, "Baby, You Wouldn't Last A Minute On The Creek" on Fuse's LOADED: Taste of Chaos

First song or album I owned:
got AWTEW and BPB the same day

Concerts I've seen:
Taste of Chaos 2007 Tampa, FL

Favorite song/album:
lots of favorite songs but currently in love with "The Undertaker's Thirst For Revenge Is Unquenchable (The Final Battle)" it has such powerful lyrics and the back and forth screaming and spinging is epic.
favorite album is Bone Pallace Ballet

What the band means to me:
a lot! their music is a lot different from everyone else and their sound is very...cinematic? its hard to describe it in words. the range of craig's voice is impressive-from hardcore screaming to sweet melodic quitness to ear peircing high-pitched vocals, i love it! not to mention the lyrics aredeep and meaningful when they need to be, and just plain fun at other times

What you should also know:
im dying to see them again and craigery's screams make me want to cry with excitement :)
