 Biography
M. Shadows - born Matthew Charles Sanders in Huntington Beach, CA on July 31st,1981 - is the vocalist for Avenged Sevenfold. Prior to A7X, Shadows was in a punk band called Successful Failure where he wrote the song "Streets" that was later recorded on A7X's first album Sounding The Seventh Trumpet.
