Zachary Wayne Farro Biography
When I was 9 years old I became interested in drums from a program at school called "Bach to Rock." A guest of the teacher brought in a shiny red drum kit and he asked the class if anyone wanted to try it out. I was the only one who raised my hand to go up and play so he showed me a beat and I played it. That night, I went home and set up the typical pots and pans drum set and then later moved up in life to a bean bag and pillow. I played those for a while until, on my 11th birthday, I got my first drum set. The second I set it up, Josh and I started playing together and we formed our first band ever. (The Josh and Zac Duo that consisted of guitar and drums only). One day, I met Hayley at school and she told me she sang. At the time Josh and I were looking for a lead singer to complete our awesome band and when she came and tried out we loved her. The first song we wrote as a band was Conspiracy… I think that's track 8 on our record. We've been touring as Paramore for about 2 and a half years now and I have never had more fun in my entire 15 years of living!
